We try to keep our spruce to the highest standards, but due to the state of the industry and the scarcity of quality Adirondack Spruce available, stock may not be perfectly quartered, may contain run-out, not have straight grain throughout the entire length, and/or may have wider grain than was previously available in the past. Small defects may be present as well, however we always try to keep anything that would be considered a defect to a minimum and remove anything that may interfere with the structural integrity of the piece.
